VARI WHITE + COLOR
NEW RANGE
Changing the Future of LED Technology
De Sisti Lighting officially presents his brand new LED’s range: the Vari-White + Color!
This innovative series exploit the latest LED technologies and make our products more performing and efficient than ever: the versatility of Vari-White combined with the infinite possibilities of Color, all enclosed in one fixture that guarantees the same light emission and quality that are the traditional hallmarks of De Sisti lights.

The Major relevant differences between De Sisti VW+Color range compared to the others products in the market are:

White Emission
De Sisti VW+C range utilizes the same WARM and COLD White NICHIA PHOSPHORS HIGH POWER LED that are utilized in the Bi-Color De Sisti Fixtures, in order to produce white light….the others Competitors mix primary colours to obtain white Light and they use MIDDLE POWER PLASTIC ENCLOSED LED……..De Sisti fixture is therefore MUCH BRIGHTER then the others and features Repeatable Colour Point (exactly the same White Light or Coloured Light across several fixtures).

Color Point Stability
De Sisti utilizes Phosphors LED also to produce colours….this is an Innovative and Important method to obtain the COLOR POINT STABILITY throughout fixtures, throughout production batches, for different Product Age and working / Ambient temperatures.
Other brands utilize the traditional Coloured LED, whose narrow emission in the spectrum is obtained by a selection of different semiconductor materials, but this technology has a known limitation of poor colour consistency, throughout production batches, at different components age and at different working temperatures. That means that different fixtures from different production batches or age, could behave differently.

Same Color Point
Also the reliability on obtaining always the same colour point on the LED is really making very useful the built in Library with the various GEL /Filters numbers and SOURCES….in fact with VW+C range it is really useful to have all the various built in personalities, while with the other products that have primary LED Colours not consistent…how can they guarantee proper expected filter number likes results? In other words, does not matter how good the software is, if the LED engine does not repeat the expected spectral emission.

Color Modes

RGBWW
6 x Open Channels Red, Green, Blue, Amber, Warm White 2.700°K, Cold White 6.500°K.

HSI
Hue, Saturation and Intensity. This setting is a standard and recognized control method. HIS is realized with the possibility for the user to choose the desired color space between (standard, REC709 and others upcoming) this method, developed in cooperation with the Italian Film School, differs from the standard by adding the ability to balance the light emission to the relevant camera in use.

X Y
This setting is a standard and recognized control method (CIE 1931) and the light emission corresponds to a XY Coordinates over the CIE 1931 graph.

Vari White modalities

ULTRA CRI
This function widens the VW range from 1.800°K to 12.000°K and it provides an extended Spectrum to the white emission, thanks to an algorithm developed with the co-operation with a University. In this modality the Imagine restitute by the CAMERA is super Natural and effectively enhanced.

Vari White classic + correction and Color
It matches Vary White Fixtures …..only white LEDs are operating to produce the white light from 2.700 to 6.500°K. CCT correction is made with +- Green and ability to add Cyan or Amber. Colours are obtained with a HUE wheel and can be combined with the white sources

GELs, FXs and SOURCEs modalities

GELs
Preset of ROSCO and LEE Filters (based on XY co-ordinates) and source CCT Selection

FXs
In this modality there are many and nice presets of effects, additionally there are tools to generate personalized ones.

SOURCEs
In this mode there is a wide library of preset Lighting SOURCES
